溢樂故事: 居家避疫 | Eva E.

1.  在居家避疫期間，你看見神在你身上的工作嗎？

我從居家避疫令中學到神是掌管一切的！我們只能祈禱和等候祂的帶領。這千載難逢的居家避疫令給我獨處機會和多餘的時間。

我學了新的網上溝通技巧，利用我的空餘時間思考我與神、我與人的關係。我花了更多時間在神的話語中，學習和實踐耶穌樣式的愛人。我又聯絡我的親朋戚友，與他們通電話、祈禱、傳福音，跟他們分享我在家煮的家常便飯.

2.  疫情大流行期間，你有更多時間做一些平常沒有時間做的事嗎？

園藝、閲讀、拍攝、通電話、聆聽不同教會的講道和烹飪。

3.  有什麼你想跟我們分享和鼓勵其他人嗎？

你們要休息、要知道我是神．我必在外邦中被尊崇、在遍地上也被尊崇。

詩篇 46:10

這段經文讓我謙卑下來和給我平安和安慰。現在有很多人在談論、誇耀、戰鬥、競爭和指導, 人們要認識到我們是軟弱和迷惘的，我們需要神的智慧、恩典和救恩。

 English Version

1.  How have you seen God work in your life during this stay-at-home order?

I learned from this stay-at-home order that God is in control of everything! There is nothing we can do except to pray to God and wait for His guidance. This once in lifetime stay-at-home order gives me the opportunity to be by myself and have plenty of time to spend. I learned the new techniques of on-line communication; take hold of the free time to reassess my relationship with God and with people. I use this time to study God's word and learn to practice how to love like Jesus.  I have been reaching out to relatives and friends by calling, praying, sharing the Gospel, and serving home cooking with them.

2.  What is something you've been doing, that you didn't have time to do before the pandemic happened?

Gardening, reading, taking pictures, talking on the phone, listening to sermons from different churches, and cooking.

3.  Any words of wisdom or encouragement to others?

“Be still and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10 

This Bible verse really humbles me and gives me peace and comfort. Nowadays there are lots of talking, boasting, fighting, competition and direction. People have to recognize we are weak and confused,  we need God's wisdom, grace, and salvation to get by in this world.
